Saving for a holiday?
Era is a modern savings app that helps people take control of their finances by setting goals, automating savings, and celebrating milestones.
For this particular campaign, we tested two different variations; emergency funds and holidays. Each one starts with a notification of when your savings dip too low. But then, with a playful “How it started / How it’s going” twist, the ad flips the narrative. The viewer sees themselves go from financial stress to financial success, hitting tangible savings goals like a $12,500 emergency fund or $2,000 holiday budget.
These ads are a perfect example of emotional storytelling in fintech. They prove that you don’t need complex messaging. Just a strong understanding of your audience’s everyday experiences, and a creative way to show the before and after of your product’s value.
