UGC is everywhere these days. It’s authentic, relatable, and usually performs way better than polished ads because it feels natural in people’s feeds. But let’s be honest, a lot of it can start to feel the same. 

Growthcurve wanted to shake things up a bit. 

For our crypto client Phantom, the mission was simple: make crypto memorable, catchy, and actually fun. Instead of another standard UGC video, the team thought, why not try a song?

It wasn’t just a case of hitting record. The team had to:

  1. Write lyrics that were easy to follow but still fun.
  2. Find the right beat to match the energy they wanted.
  3. Get the fit right so the song felt like something people would actually want to watch and share.

The goal? Keep all the things that make UGC work - simple messaging, relatability, a social-native feel, but deliver it in a way people wouldn’t expect.
