Uphold 3D Coin Motion
We had a lot of fun working on a 3D motion for Uphold. The brief was all about showing how you can buy or swap Bitcoin instantly on the app. Our idea? Fast-moving tokens that transform into other currencies, really highlighting that swapping in action. To make it feel a bit more real, we added some tactile, realistic textures so it’s not just digital-looking, but something you can almost reach out and touch.
It’s all about speed, simplicity, and that satisfying “swap” moment, and we think it really comes through in the animation.
The goal was to capture not just the mechanics, but the feeling of using the app, that sense of speed, control, and simplicity that makes swapping currencies satisfying and effortless. Every element, from the motion of the tokens to the material details, was designed to draw you in and make the experience feel immediate and tangible, reflecting exactly what Uphold offers its users.
