A Bold New Identity for a Modern Credit Card
We redesigned the visual identity for Pesto, a forward-thinking credit card company striving to break free from the traditional financial industry's aesthetic. Our goal was to create a brand that would not only stand out visually but also resonate with the values of trust, simplicity, and innovation—critical components for a modern financial service.
We also focused heavily on shape psychology, opting for rounded, organic forms throughout the brand identity. The circular shapes were intentionally chosen to evoke trust, safety, and unity—qualities that are essential in building financial relationships. By softening the typically rigid and sharp edges found in most credit card branding, we aimed to make the design feel more approachable and consumer-friendly, building an intrinsic sense of comfort and reliability.
