Power Up Your Wallet
Avant operates in a category where creative can quickly become repetitive, with much of the space dominated by familiar financial cues and safe messaging. For this project, we set out to create a video that felt more immediate and distinctive - something designed to disrupt the feed with high-energy motion design while keeping the product story clear and performance-focused.
The Concept
The idea to translate familiar financial goals and tensions into a dynamic visual story that could be understood almost instantly. Rather than leaning on generic lifestyle imagery, we used punchy 3D animation to bring financial pain points and victories to life.
We gave abstract concepts literal form, most notably by turning mounting expenses into a walking "paper bill monster" that is satisfyingly crushed by the Avant card. Combined with relatable, everyday expense cues (like gas and groceries) and satisfying UI animations (credit scores rising, instant approvals), we gave the concept the energy, movement, and stopping power needed for social feeds. Every creative choice was designed to balance attention with immediate understanding.
Our Process
The main challenge was making sure the fast-paced 22-second edit remained effective as a performance asset, not just a flashy brand piece. We focused closely on pacing, bold typography, and message hierarchy so the creative could hold attention without losing the direct response clarity.
By blending 3D product elements with recognisable digital interfaces, like push notifications and mobile application screens, we built a video that communicates modern financial utility rapidly. We structured the edit around a strong, pattern-interrupting opening and maintained a consistent visual rhythm, ensuring the viewer is seamlessly guided right to the final "Apply now" call to action.
The Result
The finished piece gave Avant a highly distinctive and performance-ready video asset, helping the brand show up in a way that feels fresh and ownable within a crowded category.
It successfully demonstrates that finance creative does not need to default to safe or predictable visual language to perform.
