Avant

The Safety Net

Football has a visual language everyone speaks. We borrowed it to talk about credit.

The Concept

A major football tournament is happening on home soil. Avant isn't a sponsor. The brief was to be visible during a peak month of national attention without naming the event, using the marks, or paying for the right.

So we worked with what football gives you for free. A net. A pitch. A ball. Objects that read sport in under a second and don't belong to a rights holder.

The lines do the connecting work. A safety net when you need it most pairs the obvious goal-net visual with the credit promise. Your next financial win starts here sits on the centre circle of a top-down pitch, with the Avant card chalk-drawn where the kickoff spot would be.

No team kits, no country names, no tournament marks. Just football imagery used the way football is being talked about everywhere this month.

Our Process

The set is two routes from one strategy.

One leans into the object. A custom Avant-branded match ball in the back of a goal, chip and contactless pressed into the leather panels. Nothing else competes for the badge.

The other leans into the territory. An overhead pitch with the card composed at the centre, cut in grass green and pitch blue so the same idea works across audiences and feeds.

The motion picks up the ball-in-net cut and gives it a single beat. Ball hits. Net flexes. Brand and line land. Built to loop in feed.

Colours stayed Avant's the whole way through. No flags, no team allegiance, no borrowed equity. Same moment as the sponsors, without the sponsorship.
